Day 12 post op

Hope everyone’s enjoying the 4th of July! Gracie’s the first dog I’ve had that doesn’t seem to be affected by the noise of fireworks.

no changes except more of the good stuff from yesterday. More attempts to dig, head buried in the vines. And wanting to play tug-a-war w/ her toys. We won’t get into serious tugging w/ her yet. She still has the cone ’cause scabs are still present. Before surgery she use to not know when to stop. If we were outside she’d be out there the entire time digging & running & never slowing down. So I’m not sure if she’ll over-do once she has her freedom.

off to read up on how to add/embed a video – no experience doing so, so I haven’t a clue which option to select…

More good stuff is a good thing! 🙂

FYI: Easiest way to share videos is to upload them to YouTube first. Then you can just paste the view page URL on a line by itself and the movie will automatically embed right here in your blog post.

As a Tripawds Supporter, you can also use the small YouTube or Vimeo buttons in your post editor. Buttons for other video sharing sites are also available.

Aw, Gracie, what a dear little soul! She’s had quite a time with the nasty cone, hasn’t she?!

We’d like to wish Gracie a belated birthday and that the coming year is a simply awesome one for her and for you.

Interest in pre-surgery fun things is such a great sign.

Enjoy your holiday and the fireworks! Paws crossed for continued recovery!

Good for her. We are on day 7 and Frecks is improving each day. She did not wear a cone but we have to keep a tee shirt on her because if not her back leg flies so fast you can’t see it move. Best wishes on your journey.

Nash isn’t bothered too much by fireworks either, at least as long as he’s inside. We took him outside with us to watch them last night, and he was a little restless. Anyway, I’m so glad Gracie is doing better!

More good stuff is what we want to hear! Yah hoo!!!

Gracie, you aren’t bothered by those silly fireworks because you seem just too cool and composed. Aren’t those loud things just so dumb? I never understood why humans like to blow stuff up or “burn money” as Momma always says!

Keep up the good work Gracie girl.
